It's a joke about a guy who mistook a Bugatti for Lamborghini in some viral video.

But it's also because it looks suspiciously like a Lamborghini in profile and on the bottom front lip and side skirts.

The short front end and wide, long rear screams mid-engined, but Mercedes never made a mid-engined car recently (and it doesn't look like any of their concepts), and the body work that is visible doesn't look like their styling language at all. It looks more like a Saleen S7.

I could be totally, utterly wrong, and I hope I am (this means maybe there's some new concept we're going to see?) but it just doesn't seem to add up.
